Delivering Systems at the Point of Care

Healthcare organisations around the world are striving to decrease costs, improve efficiency and increase profitability, without compromising on the quality of care. To achieve this, healthcare management teams are turning to information technology for assistance.

We have developed a comprehensive range of products for today’s healthcare needs. Our solutions are created for the wide-ranging needs of hospital administrators, healthcare professionals and most importantly, patients.

The design of our solution is centred on the patient. While we understand that each user has differing needs, his focus remains ultimately on satisfying the customer – the patient. For example, when hospital administrator wants to know how efficient the organisation is running, he looks at length of patient queues, ease of generating bills and cost and quality of services in relation to his competitors. Healthcare professionals want solutions to provide up-to-date patient information and essential alerts with minimal fuss while maintaining interaction with their patients. Patients, on the other hand want ready access to quality care and reduced waiting-times.

Our healthcare solutions address many of these needs; they are distinctive in that we have experienced industry professionals on our team. Their intimate knowledge of industry needs as well as their numerous years of experience helps to contribute to the depth of our solutions.

  • VESALIUS – HIS™ (Hospital Information System)
  • VESALIUS – CIS™ (Clinical Information System)

With the release of a new version VESALIUS.geo, we have incorporated a ground-breaking feature known as Multi-Organization Architecture (MOA). This unique architecture allows the running of a single system and sharing the same database for multiple institutions, a strategy adopted by some of our recent customers as it supports vision of One Patient-One Record that gives care providers access to the complete patient medical record regardless of which hospital he practices in. Despite a centralized approach, MOA gives the flexibility of defining different services, pricing & inventory rules for each location/hospital.

Ready-to-deploy interfaces based on international exchange standards such as HL7 ensure that VESALIUS do not operate on a stand-alone basis in typically heterogeneous environment but in a integrated manner to ensure our core philosophies such as Unified EMR (Electronic Medical Record) is a reality for our customers.
