"Fortis Healthcare Singapore is pleased to be working with Nova to implement VESALIUS.geo 8.3 Health Information System at its upcoming specialist surgical hospital at Adam Road and clinics at Novena Specialist Center. We wanted a solution which could deliver a fully filmless, paperless, scriptless, and chartless approach towards modern inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory healthcare. We aim to exceed the '4-less' challenge laid down by former Health Minister, Mr. Khaw Boon Wan by introducing fully electronic clinical protocols for treatment; electronic consent; and tablet and mobile access to patient health information and electronic record," Mr. Jeffrey Yeo, Senior Director, Operations explained Fortis IT strategy. The hospital is scheduled to open in mid-2012 while the Novena Specialist Center will be receiving patients by the turn of the year.
