Buoyed up by the current price, oil
producing countries are enjoying unprecedented development.
The flood of development applications puts great strain
on the local authorities responsible for planning
and development control. Each application must be
examined carefully to ensure that the development
complies with planning guidelines and that the buildings
erected are structurally sound.
With this in mind, Nova has been actively
seeking business opportunities for our solutions for
urban planning and development control in the Middle-East
since 2007.
In late 2007, presentations of e-Government
solutions for local authorities to senior officials
from the Jeddah and Mecca Municipalities were well-received.
Our e-Government products have proven to unite cutting-edge
technologies with our domain knowledge to bring innovative
yet practical solutions to our customers in South-East
Asia. As a result of the keen interest shown, Nova
and Royah Technologies (Royah) decided to conclude
a teaming agreement to work together to secure business
in this area.
"With this important relationship
to add to our growing list of international partners,
we mark a very important step in our strategic initiative
to promote and distribute our solutions in the Middle-East.
We are confident with the help of our local partner
Royah, it will not be long before the first sales
order is received," Mr Steven Chan said of the
agreement.
To further create market awareness,
Nova and Royah continues to make presentations to
officials drawn from the main cities in the kingdom.
