Recently, novaHEALTH a subsidiary of Nova MSC Berhad signed a contract with PT. EKAMAS INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL to provide hospital management systems to hospitals developed by Sinar Mas Group. As Sinar Mas ventures into a non-traditional industry, it views IT as a critical tool to help them manage and continuously improve their hospital operations. In their selection of a vendor, they had based it on several criteria - overall solution to hospital workflow, comprehensive functionality, integration capabilities with external systems, support and maintenance services, implementation track record, customer base, vendor’s reputation and lastly continued enhancements to the product.
“Importantly for our group, Nova also has excellent experience in rolling-out solutions that cater to practices in Indonesia,” he added. Besides implementing VESALIUS, Nova is also responsible for integrating with 3rd party solutions such as SAP Financials and Laboratory Information System to provide a seamless experience for their users. “The Sinar Mas contract is a strategic and key success for Nova because the Sinar Mas brand is well-recognized and reputable in Indonesia and abroad, and Nova is pleased to be associated with them in their latest venture.
