In April 2005, as part of its plan to expand and enhance services SACH moved to a brand new 11-storey, 200-bedded hospital - located next to an acute care general hospital – Changi General Hospital. In mid-2006, SACH embarked on a
tender process to select a vendor to upgrade their Hospital Information
System to overcome shortcomings
of their present system and improve patient service levels. As
a result of numerous demonstrations and discussions, SACH opted
for VESALIUS a full-fledged Hospital Information Systemwhich covers
front-end modules such as Appointments, Registrations, ADT and
billing to ancillary support modules such as Pharmacy,
Medical Records to back-end support for Inventory and integration
