novaNEWS Jurong Town Corporation awards Turnkey Consultancy Services Contract June 2001 -- The Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) has awarded a contract valued close to US$480,000 to novaCITYNETS, to implement an Internet-based Plan Endorsement and Approval System (PEAS) Software Application system, which will integrate with Singapore's CORENET e-Submission system. (see novaNEWS October 2000). This project uses novaCITYNETS PAVO™ as the underlying product for development of an integrated system for the Authority. In this project, novaCITYNETS also uses BEA's Weblogic on Windows NT platform in delivering the solution for JTC. The intent of this application system (PEAS) is to be able to receive and distribute plans electronically once they are routed from "BCA's CORENET e-Submission", and to be able to process and manage these routed information effectively into several of JTC's backend system. In the course of this automated procedure, it will be able to support approval, and disapproval to project applications from the routed information, as well as counter-based application registration at JTC.
